Hi! I’m Kristy—the heart behind HitZero! Cheer Hair. I’m a proud 22-year Navy veteran, wife, mom to five amazing kids, and a full-time cheer mom to two all-star athletes. When I’m not creating custom cheer ponytails, you can usually find me at the cheer gym (it’s basically my second home), juggling schedules, cheering loud, and living for competition weekends.
I’m also a devoted dog mom and a lifelong Disney dreamer—if I could sneak away between practices, that’s exactly where I’d be. Creating HitZero! Cheer Hair allows me to combine my love for the cheer community with my passion for creating something special for families just like ours.

HitZero! Cheer Hair was created by Kristy, a cheer mom of two all-star cheerleaders who understands just how much confidence, consistency, and performance matter on the mat. After years of searching for high-quality cheer ponytails that looked amazing, held up through intense routines, and didn’t come with an overwhelming price tag, it became clear there was a need for something different.
My mission is simple: to provide custom cheer hairpieces that are beautifully made, performance-ready, and accessible for cheer families—without sacrificing quality or personalization.
Every ponytail I create is designed with real cheerleaders in mind. From a higher, teased ponytail to full, corkscrew curls or straight-ends that last through every hit, jump, and tumble, HitZero! hairpieces are crafted to help athletes feel confident, polished, and competition-ready.

Cheer is more than a sport—it’s a community. As a cheer mom, I know firsthand how important it is to trust the products your athlete wears on competition day. That’s why each HitZero! ponytail is created with the same care and attention I would give my own children’s hair.
I believe custom cheer hair should feel special, not stressful. From the moment you reach out to the final product in your hands (and forever after, too!), my goal is to make the experience enjoyable, personal, and seamless.
